Palm Pre or HTC Hero?

I'm getting a new phone soon. Sprint is my carrier and I'm trying to decide on which phone I want. I've narrowed my choices down to the Palm Pre and the HTC Hero (which comes out 10/11/09).

Which one is better?

They are both wonderful phones. I currently have the Pre and love it. It is very simplistic and powerful. The hero looks pretty awesome too. It may be a little more powerful, it runs Android for an OS and another thing to consider is the on screen keyboard. Either one is a good choice. It just comes down to those few things. I would suggest going to the Sprint store and just play with them to see how they feel to you.

i just sold the pre to get the hero and the hero is a much better phone for sure if you like apps.

If i recall correctly yhe PRE is loaded with Windows? Blsssss
