I bought my HTC Dream online, I want to upgrade my OS to 2.0. How do I do that?

I called Rogers since they have have a limited time offer of getting a free HTC magic for free since they will not upgrade the dreams. I am not eligible since I did not purchase it from Rogers. What should I do?
